Attend Meeting 5 of the Advisory Committee
The 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee will hold its fifth meeting March 12-13, 2020, in Washington, DC. The meeting will include presentations by each Subcommittee, deliberation by the full Committee, and plans to finalize its work.
The Committee will meet to examine the science related to the topics and questions on nutrition and health identified by the Departments. All Committee meetings are open to the public for anyone to attend.

USDA and HHS encourage individuals to register to attend the meeting either in-person or by webcast. Due to building security, only individuals who registered to attend in-person will be on the security list to access the building. In-person seating is provided on a first come basis. This meeting will be videotaped and posted to our website after the meeting. Please allow at least one month after the meeting for this to occur.

Description: Both meeting days will include presentations from the six topic area subcommittees: Dietary Patterns; Pregnancy and Lactation; Birth to 24 Months; Beverages and Added Sugars; Dietary Fats and Seafood; and Frequency of Eating; and the cross-cutting working group: Data Analysis and Food Pattern Modeling. Throughout the meeting, the Committee will review the work since the last public meeting and discuss plans to prepare its scientific report that will be submitted to the USDA and HHS in May 2020.
