2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee
Meeting 5 – March 12-13, 2020
On March 12-13, the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee will hold its fifth meeting. The meeting will be available to attend in-person, in Washington, DC, or by webcast. The meeting will include presentations by each subcommittee, deliberation by the full Committee, and plans to finalize its work.
Both meeting days will include presentations from the six topic area subcommittees: Dietary Patterns; Pregnancy and Lactation; Birth to 24 Months; Beverages and Added Sugars; Dietary Fats and Seafood; and Frequency of Eating; and the cross-cutting working group: Data Analysis and Food Pattern Modeling. Throughout the meeting, the Committee will review the work since the last public meeting and discuss plans to prepare its scientific report that will be submitted to the USDA and HHS in May 2020.
The meeting agenda will be available on this page a day or two before the meeting. All other meeting materials, including the archived webcast, will be available on this page after the meeting concludes. Please allow at least one month for this to occur.
