2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee: Meeting 3

On October 24-25, 2019, the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee held its third meeting at the USDA South Building in Washington, DC

The Meeting Included:

  • A presentation on the Nutrition Evidence Systematic Review (NESR) process the Committee will use to review the evidence for the questions that will be answered using systematic reviews. 
  • Presentations by each of the topic area subcommittees and deliberation by the full Committee. (Note: These presentations reflected the available protocols for each question, which can be found through this page.)

Meeting 3 of the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee has been approved for Continuing Professional Education credit with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
