2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee: Meeting 1
The 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (Committee) held its first public meeting on February 9-10, 2023. During the meeting, the following agenda items were discussed:
- A review of operations for the Committee members;
- A review of the history and evolution of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans;
- Presentations on the evidence-based approaches for reviewing the scientific evidence;
- Overview of the proposed scientific questions identified by the Departments to be examined by the Committee;
- Plans for future Committee work.
