Peer-Reviewed Publications

Updating the Dietary Guidelines for Americans (Dietary Guidelines) is a scientifically rigorous, multi-year process. Evidence supporting each edition of the Dietary Guidelines is comprehensively documented in the Scientific Report of the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (Committee). In addition to the Scientific Report, members of the Committee and Federal support staff publish work on select topics related to the development of the Dietary Guidelines in peer-reviewed publications as listed below.
